We are Swami Vivekananda Rural Community College (SVRCC), a centre for skills training, on the periphery of Puducherry. SVRCC helps to build competency, ability and capacity of young Indian men and women especially from socially, educationally and economically marginalized segments to earn livelihoods through skill oriented careers in industry or through self-employment. In addition to technical and vocational skills, we also impart to all students, a sound grounding in personal values, ethics, soft skills, self-discipline etc., thus providing for a holistic education. We have grown into a state-of-the-art institution imparting 15 year-long diploma courses in a sprawling 50,000 sq.ft campus since our inception in 2008.
